How is my order handled?

Every item can be ordered either cut-to-size or full size. Cut-to-size items will be either saw cut (bar, pipe, tube, structurals), sheared (sheet and plate), plasma/flame cut (thick plates), or cut on our precision aluminum plate saw (aluminum plates). Using these methods ensures that the edges on your material will be clean, to the correct measurement, and within your specified tolerances. Since every item is cut-to-size and there is no order minimum, there is no need to buy extra material, saving you money on both material and shipping costs.


When will my order ship and arrive?

Orders for in stock materials made before 9 AM are usually shipped same day. Orders are processed M-F 8am-4:30pm CST, and you will be notified via email when your package has shipped.

General delivery times:

UPS 3-Day Select:  3 Days Guaranteed
UPS Next Day:  Next Day Guaranteed


Is there a minimum order?

NO.  We offer the ability to order the size you need when you need it. We offer any amount from inches to truckloads.


I live in the Twin Cities or Dallas/Fort Worth Metro Area, can I come and get my material?

You bet! Just specify that you will be picking up your order during the checkout process. If your order was placed for an in stock item before 9:00 AM, we make every effort to have your order done by 3:00 PM, and we will call or email you when your order is ready. By ordering the day before, you can save time by having your order ready for you to pickup the following day.


How secure is my credit card information?

My order is wrong, how do I fix it?

Fill out the information on the Contact Us page, select that there was something wrong with your order, and explain the problem, giving as much information as possible (including the invoice number and salesman number).  We will work with you as hard as possible to correct the problem. If it is found that we made an error, we will issue a Return Materials Authorization (RMA). We will then send you the correct material via UPS at our cost.


I need a large quantity of material, can I get a quote?

Absolutely, there are a couple of ways:

  • The best way is to add all the items to your cart, continue to checkout, and select the email as quote option. This gives us all the information we need to correctly quote your material and shipping.
  • Fill out our online RFQ request on the Contact Us page
The item I need is not on your Website, can you special order it?
